  1. I enjoyed reading your added specifics. And you're right..the "hills" of the East, beautiful though they are, are no comparison to the majesties of the West.

  2. Mark has had to go West to climb the Real Mountains. Me, I like the rolling hills. Or, actually, flat is good. :/

Frank, how have you done all that without breaking any bones? Not a toe, even?

  3. Laura, I really don't know how to answer that. No, I've never broken anything despite my "lifestyle."

I competed nationally in gymnastics all through high school and college. Many falls and mishaps but no breaks. I competed in Modern Pentathlon, where one of the events is to get on a horse you've never seen before and race through a jumping course. Usually good for a fall. Or two. I've raced motocross and enduro where you constanly get thrown from your speeding motorcycle onto uneven terrain while being chased (and sometimes run over) by other folks on their powerful machines. Rock climbing, mountaineering, sailboat racing, skiing (water and snow), etc. I enjoy active stuff.

    No breaks ever.

I can only blame it on (or thank) karma. My younger brother has broken everything at least once. He breaks something if you look at him crooked. I guess he accidentally got all my bad karma on top of his own. Thanks, Chuck, I appreciate it, bra!
