Roadtrip Day 331
Travel day. Broke camp and stopped at the very nice supermarket near the Hampton Inn where we had stayed previously. Shopped for about a week’s worth of foodstuffs then hit the road for James Island State Park in Maryland. Fairly uneventful drive with nice scenery. Arrived at the park campground and got set up. Rested a bit then had top sirloin steak on the bbq, broccoli, and sautéed mushrooms for dinner with a perfectly lovely “Barolo” from JVB cellars from our (not) extensive RV wine collection. (grin) Man! It was delish.
I had a long HOT shower in their very nice shower facilities and now the sun has come out in time for a beautiful sunset after a grey, but not rainy, day. That’s a good day. I’m thinking some reading and a solid night’s sleep.
